The Club’s name “Klun” is the phonetic version of the word “Clown” in French, describing the character of the French Bulldog.

We had an entry of 32 Frenchies for the Club’s 1st Championship Show of which 4 are imported.   Everyone was excited to see all the Frenchies and about the fabulous prizes offered.  The detailed show results and pictures of the exhibits are on the Show Results page.  Our sincerest gratitude to Jennifer Saunders for the photography!  You can obtain your CD with the day’s pictures from the Club at R50.

The next Club Event is the Breed Clinic to be held on 14 November 2010.

Congratulations to Maureen Martin with her new champion Ch Nkosisani.  And to Kitty Pieterse and Susan Visser with Ch Suca Vole Pour L’Or and their new pied import from the Netherlands.

Congratulations to Maggie & Pieter Swart winning Best in Show on 11 July 2010 with Suca Quete De Gloire of Thundaride, Kitty Pieterse & Susan Visser with Suca Flamme Rouge winning Reserve Best in Show.  And to Andre Goussard winning Best Puppy in Show with Ivanhoe VD Franseweg (Imp Neth).
